The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has officially announced the results for the Intelligence Bureau (IB) Security Assistant/Executive Tier-I examination 2025. The results were published on December 17, 2025, on the ministry’s official portal. Aspirants who appeared for the written examination held on September 29 and 30, 2025, can now verify their qualification status for the next phase of the recruitment process.

How to Check IB SA Result 2025 ?

The Intelligence Bureau has released the result in a PDF format containing the roll numbers of shortlisted candidates. Candidates are advised to follow these professional protocols to check their status:

• Recruitment Section: Locate the "What’s New" or "Recruitment" tab on the homepage.
• Result Link: Click on the link titled "Result of SA/Exe Tier-I Exam 2025."
• Search Roll Number: Open the downloaded PDF and use the ‘Ctrl+F’ function to search for your specific roll number.

IB SA Tier-II Examination

Shortlisted candidates must now prepare for the Tier-II examination, which is descriptive in nature. This stage is designed to test the linguistic proficiency and translation skills of the applicants.

Exam Pattern: The Tier-II test consists of a translation task involving a 500-word passage from the local language/dialect to English and vice versa.

Total Marks: 50 Marks (1-hour duration).

Qualifying Criteria: Candidates must secure a minimum of 20 out of 50 marks to qualify for the final Interview/Personality test.

Cut-off and Merit List Analysis
