UP D.El.Ed Selection Process

A key aspect of the UP D.El.Ed. admission is the merit-based selection process. The Examination Regulatory Authority does not conduct an entrance exam. Instead, admission is strictly based on the aggregate percentage secured by the candidate in their academic career.

The final merit rank is calculated based on the combined percentage of marks obtained in:

High School (Class 10th)

Intermediate (Class 12th)

Graduation (Bachelor’s Degree)

A State Rank List will be published on the official website based on this calculated merit score. Candidates with higher percentages in these three stages are ranked higher and have a better chance of securing a seat in a prestigious Government DIET college.

Candidates who make it to the merit list will be called for the online counselling process in phases.
