Thrissur Pooram, the biggest colorful festival in Kerala, it is considered as the mother of all poorams. Thrissur pooram festival and its cultural events attracts all the categories of people without any boundaries of age,religion and regions.
Thrissur Pooram normally celebrates in the Malayalam month Of Medom (April-May) every year. This year Thrissur Pooram 2015 celebrating on April 29th, 2015. Thrissur Pooram is the constituents of ten poorams around the thrissur town. The constituents poorams are Thiruvambady Bhagavathi, Paramekkavu Bhagavathi, Nethilakkavu Bhagavathi, Karamukku Bhagavathi, Ayyanthole Bhagavathi, Laloor Bhagavathi, Choorakkattukavu Bhagavathi, Chembukkavu Bhagavathi, Panamukkumpally Sastha and Kanimangalam Sastha.
The main attraction of the Thrissur pooram is the Pancha vadyam, Elangithara melam, Kudamattam and the greate Fire works.
