National Games Kerala 2015 Opening Ceremony Cultural Programmes

National Games Kerala 2015 is the 35th National Games of India being held in Kerala from January 31 to February 14 at various venues across seven districts in Kerala.

The opening ceremony of the National Games 2015 will be held at Trivandrum International Stadium, Karyavattam, Thiruvananthapuram on Jan – 31st. M. Venkaiah Naidu, Union Minister for Urban Development, will be the chief guest at the opening ceremony of National Games.

The National games 2015 opening ceremony event will be featured with 3 hours cultural programmes that exploring the traditional cultural status of the state. The cultural extravaganza at the ceremony, directed by T.K. Rajeev Kumar, will feature over 5000 artists. The high lights of the event is the performance by actor Mohanlal and his band Lalisom – the Lal Effect.

Entry pass and tickets for the national games:

The entry for the opening ceremony will be free of cost for the public. The entry pass for the opening ceremony and the closing ceremony of National games kerala 2015 will be issued by free of cost. The entry pass or tickets will be issues from the separate counters at the Trivandrum International Stadium, Karyavattom, Thiruvananthapuram, and Chandrasekharan Nair Stadium, Palayam, Thiruvananthapuram.

Entry without pass to the stadium for opening ceremony will be allowed after 5.00 PM

The entry pass/tickets for the sporting events during the Games in the stadium will also be available from the stadium counters.

National Games 2015 Telecast Live:

The opening ceremony will be telecast live on DD National, DD Sports and DD Malayalam from 6 p.m. till the end of the ceremony. Dooradarsan (DD) will also cover the closing ceremony live event.

Dooradarsan Live coverage will be available for all the major sports including athletics, aquatics, tennis, gymnastics, football, volleyball, shooting, kabbadi, table tennis, badminton, basketball, weightlifting, boxing and hockey.
